1999
During the Civil War of Liberia, we funded and built an orphanage in Monrovia that began with 37 children — later adding a school for orphans and neighborhood children.
Our History
Called to reach the youth of the nations
We are a non-profit organization whose purpose is to reach the youth of the nations, disciple them to make disciples, and bring relief to the orphans, widows, and the destitute around the world.
Founders
Founders David and Sammye Rogers were teenage sweethearts who shared a passion for ministering to young people. They have served as children and youth pastors, directors of youth altar counseling teams, project directors of youth missions, and Children and Youth Ministry Directors of Living Word Missions, Inc.
While traveling the world they discovered little to no children or youth ministry in or outside the churches. God gave them a desire to train, equip, and establish leaders and ministries to serve the youth of the nations.
Our Vision
Our vision is to reach 10 million plus children and youth by training, equipping, and establishing 100,000 leaders to start youth and children's clubs around the world — disciples making disciples — while teaching moral lessons and life skills for spiritual, relational, economic, and social life.
